A doctor and medical researcher, Katie is married with four children.
Katie grew up in the country before attending boarding school in South Yarra. She trained as a doctor at the Alfred Hospital and has spent the past 25 years working as a paediatrician at the Royal Children’s Hospital and as a medical researcher at the Murdoch Children’s Research Institute. She was an inaugural Fellow of the Australian Academy of Health and Medical Science. Katie has dedicated her career to helping others.
A Stonnington local for over 40 years, Katie loves the character and amenity of the area and understands the issues that matter most to Prahran.
Katie is actively involved in local school and community groups, including serving as Chairman of the Melbourne Girls Grammar School Council and as a Director of Cabrini Health.
